Anybody having troubles logging into "My eBay" using Safari the last week or so? If I try to access:

http://my.ebay.com

...using Safari, it fails saying the page has moved or cannot be found. Please try accessing the page from the eBay homepage. Sure enough, I try from the homepage of eBay and it works just fine and signs in...

Camino, FireFox, IE have no issues signing from the http://my.ebay.com page .

Any ideas? Anybody else seeing this?

No problem here, except that the link goes to My eBay, not yours

I guess you've emptied the Cache, that's the only thing I can think of. It's weird that it doesn't find the page at all.

The same thing happens to me (i didn't know this URL existed, I put in the name & pass it loads up this page), it could be because I am signed up with eBay UK, so the .com server has problems finding my 'my eBay' page .

Exactly! I don't think it's anything with the UK store specifically as I'm not in the UK...

Weird, for some it works but not others it sounds like.

I have a brand new powerbook 17 and I get this issue on and off.

Sometimes it says it redirects to an error page , and if i click the "My eBay" link again, it goes directly to my ebay page. Other times its fine.

I also encounter frequent errors where it cannot open a page. If i try again, it opens up fine.

I sometimes get an intermittent myBay problem from Opera on Windows, where the error is that the request string was too long ! Could be a similar problem.

Well, things have improved; however, still not totally fixed. After I put in my user name/password for "My eBay" tonight...I get an error page that briefly shows and then it does take me into "My eBay" summary, unlike before where it said to try from the main eBay page.

Weird!

Just got this problem for the first time today. I didn't have this problem before.

It asked for my registration, but wouldn't take it. It kept on saying it was incorrect and wouldn't sign me in.

The strange part is it turned out I was already signed in anyway.

Not related.

The eBay issues have been going on well before PayPal had their issues...
