So I recently "upgraded" to Office 2004 (so far, I'm not sure if it's actually an improvement, overall) and I can't get the "Microsoft Entourage Conduit" to work. Before you ask, yes, I am using the version that came with Office 2004 and not the previous version.
The problem is that when I open the Palm HotSync Manager and try to change the Entourage Conduit settings, nothing happens. Normally, a screen with the conduit settings would appear if you double click the name of the conduit (or click the "Conduit Settings" button) but nothing whatsoever happens. And when I try syncing the palm, it just goes right past the Entourage Conduit in the progress bar without doing anything. A little googling indicates that others may have the same problem, but I haven't found anything about the cause or a solution.
I may need to switch over to iSync and iCal because of this, but I don't really want to. I prefer having things all in one program. Can anyone give me any ideas about what might be causing the problem? Is anyone here successfully using the Entourage Conduit with Office 2004?
My hunch is that maybe the conduit isn't getting installed properly for some reason. If someone with a working conduit could send it to me, it would really help with my troubleshooting efforts. Send it to
