hi - i've noticed recently that when i quit safari it clears my
history. as far as i know, there is not a preference that is set to
do this ... wondering if anybody else has encountered this and what i
can do to fix this problem.

also, if this helps, the only site left in history is "acid search help" - i installed acid search a while ago, it lets you add other search engines to the search bar in safari. the developer says that he has not heard of acid search causing a problem like this.

out of curiosity. i unistnalled acid search, but the problem still persists. the history is still completely cleared.
