I need a program that will allow me to transfer all my DV from my camcorder on to my harddrive. Then Will let me burn the video from my harddrive in to a DVD. i already have all the hardware. Whenever I plug in my DV cam in to my iMac through firewire it never seems to read it, and I am not familiar on where to go, So I figure if I had the right software it would work.

iMovie will suck it in. iDVD will burn it to DVD. Both should be built in to your machine if it was built in the last few years.
