Hey all

Currently have .mac which runs out end of Jan 2005. Have found someone selling Activation codes quite cheap on ebay, and was wondering:

If i get the code today and enter, will my new 12 months start today, or will it continue on from the end of Jan when current subs run out??

Don't want to sit on the code in case they expire or something aint quite legit!

Is selling the code legit in the first place ?

I would look into this a little more thoroughly. What's the seller's feedback rating? Is he/she just selling the codes, or is there some sort of physical product? THis sounds kind of fishy to me, but maybe I'm wrong.

I don't know what "quite cheaply" is, but I just purchased my .mac renewal on amazon.com for just under $80 -- 20 percent cheaper than through the Apple store.

ok, .mac is £69.00 in UK

this guy has 56 off 100% postive feedbacks [he sells quite a bit of Appke realted stuff, havent found feedback for a .mac account though!]

he is getting the codes from an Apple Outlet in Hong Kong, they open the box, send me the code and then destroy the box [or thats what it says on ebay]

i could have the box sent from H.K. but it would cost £15 approx

currently there is 1 at buy it now £49 with no p&p as will be sent by email and another at £29 with not a single bid on.

sounds a little fishy, but he has good feedback for a number of apple realted sales ie caps, ipod cases, powerbook sleeves etc
