Hi

I have a friend who has been using iCal for a long time and he is experiencing a problem.
When he tries to add an event to a particular day, the event appears actually the day before when he checks iCal later.

If he wants to browse the calendar (week view), sometimes the program crashes or iCal changes the week view from 7 days to 5 days, or even changes the starting day (he uses Sunday, and it changes to Friday i.e.)... it even showed him one 2 columns for saturday, and no Friday !

Evrything works ok in Day view or Month view however.

He deleted the iCal preferences, installed the very latest version, checked and repaired the authorization etc. Nothing changed.

Can you help him and give hime so tips ?

Thanks you in advance !

I am having a problem where there are missing appointments and when I publish it, the appointments show 3 hours prior to when they are actually schedule... Any thoughts???

I'm not sure about the "missing appointments" but the 3 hour discrepancy when you publish is probably due to timezone settings being off in one way or another.

That's what I though about the timezone, but I do not see anywhere to change it on the published calendar... On my PC iCal is set for EST in Phila where I am... Any suggestions????

try unpublishing (deleting it from online) and then republishing it. I seem to remember something about it always assuming the timezone from which it was originally published, though I could be wrong.

No luck with that either... I wonder since I have a Blackberry and it syncs with PocketMac if this could be a problem? I once again checked all timezones I think all are EST...

I'll check things out when I can get back to my Mac. I too sync with a blackberry, but I haven't tried publishing since I got the blackberry, so I'll try and see if things work or not...
