I have recently upgraded to VPC 7 and installed my own copy of Windows 2000. However, I cannot get on the Internet with any applications in the PC. I have had this problem with Windows XP too. Like say I use Internet Explorer to browse the web, it say "Connected to Server. Waiting for reply...". Sometimes it loads a bit of the page or the title of the website but most of the time it just loads nothing. So it is really frustrating. When I was in VPC 6, I could use an Apple Script came with it to solve the problem. But in VPC 7, I can't find that Apple Script again.

Thank you!

I regularly run a Win2K VM and it worked out of the box for me. From experience I can tell you that if your networking is set to shared, don't make ANY changes in Windows. If you do, you need to clear out all of the networking fields, or remove the emulated ethernet controller via device manager and then reset the VM. Make sure you have your Windows 2000 disk handy if you go that route.

I haven't done any network setting in VPC or in Windows 2000. The copy of Windows 2000 is fresh installed. Something weird is that something it can load some of the websites, but it will stop. Sometimes it will load without problem.
