Hi,
is there a way I can make Entourage automaticly check for messages so that I don't have to enlarge the Entourage window and press the Send/Receive -button?

I used to have a PC with MS Outlook that did this so that when a mail arrived, a window popped up to let me know and asked if I would open the mail. Is this also possible??

I am using Entourage version 10.1.4

You need to set up a schedule. See "Schedules" under the Tools menu. You need to create an item which will check mail on one or all of your accounts, and the set how often it happens, etc.

Kinda goofball... takes some time to figure out.

Thanks, it looks like what I was looking for but is there a way I can get a "notification-window" to pop up in front of other open windows when mails arrive?

Entourage > Window > Progress.
When you're now working in another app, the Progress window will briefly pop-up at times set by your schedule. At least, as far as I remember (I'm on Mail now).

Also, the dock icon will bounce when a new message arives (unless you turn that off in preferences).
I do not like those green links and spam.

The new Entourage in Office 2004 includes a pop-up window that shows information about who the message is from. But if you just want to know if you have mail or not, the bouncing dock icon should suffice.

Also if you do Cammand tab a envelope will appear on the Entourage icon, same with the dock icon.
