With all the talk of the security holes in Windows I was wondering how secure AOL is. Does the software running on the OS have any effect on security?? Is AOL running on OSX more or less secure than AOL on Windows?

AOL on Mac OS X is little more than a Web browser that also controls the PPP dialer. It isn't particularly more insecure than you would be with any other dial-up ISP.
