I've been having problems with Windows connecting to the internet in Virtual PC 7. Sometimes it works, but most of the time IE times out before being able to load a web page. The ethernet icon at the bottom of the VPC window shows that it's trying to connect, but to no avail.

I remember having a similar problem with an older version of VPC, and that there was a troubleshooting/debug mode in VPC somewhere that, once switched, fixed it, but I can't seem to find a similar solution in VPC 7.

Any thoughts? Anyone else experiencing this?

Update...

I found a potential solution:

However, this functionality doesn't seem to be around anymore in VPC 7.

Does the script from VPC 6 still work? If so, anyone care to share the script?

OK...the script from VPC 6 does not work with VPC 7, so it seems I'm stuck.

Anyone else with this problem that can help?

Still can't connect in VPC 7 with fresh installs of Windows XP Pro and Windows 98 SE. Anyone have a potential solution?

A small bump, hoping that someone has a solution. I've been having the same problem with both 98 SE and 2000.
