I'm looking for a product that offers more flexability then the default picture publishing that iPhoto offers. My primary use is for a website for my photos.

I've used front page back in the day and it offers themes. I tried the 30 day trial of Contribute and it doesn't seem to offer that type of formatting. Admittedly I haven't dug into the app too much.

What other choices are there, dream weaver and adobe go live, how do they stack up. Since I go to school at night I'm eligable to purchase them using a student discount.

BetterHTMLExport might be what you need to export pages right from iphoto. You can write your own templates or there are quite a few that others have made and shared.

Galerie is another iPhoto export plugin that allows you more control over exporting html web page galleries.

A slightly more advanced option would be to install some form of gallery software on your web hosting, which would be able to do all of the organisation for you, and allow things such as user comments. You would need a host that supports php for this. If you go this option I would recommend Gallery which includes an iPhoto export plugin to post pics straight to your website (no creating an uploading html pages)

Thanks,
I'll definitly look into those apps, but that's not what I was asking. I think I worded my question not too clear.

I want a web designing program like MS frontpage (no flames please) I just use this as a reference. I'm playing with macromedia contribute but it doesn't seem to have themes (at least I can't find them).

Here's the rub, I can only publish 48 photo's at a time, but they also affords me .mac's themes. What I want to do is design a website that does not have the 48 photo limit, I know I can drag and drop the pictures from iphoto to a folder of my choice. That leaves what website software offers me the customization/themes and access to html. Used to work on websites on a pc years ago. Not sure what's available on the mac.

Not sure if this is what you want, but you might check out RapidWeaver and maybe Freeway.

I know very little about this topic, but I have heard good things about Freeway Express, too -- in addition to Freeway. (Express is cheaper!)
