I've been using Safari DP1.3 because of the added befits of spelling and of smoother and quiker scrolling. But I just downloaded the PR1 version and wow is the rendering fast. I would like to use FF but is there any word on the FF Mac OS X team that they will inpliment spelling using the built in OS X libraries?

FireFox will never use the spellchecker built into MacOS X. It is specifically designed to work cross platform so they will never tie it into a specific platform like that. Instead you can use plugins like this one.

Thanks for the heads up. Installed it and am currently using it but I wish it would be "check as you type". But I was very impressed about the ability of the software to install. Even m ore impressive was the fact that I had to go through two verifications in order to allow it to install - something that Microsoft never understood.
