I bought Salling Clicker, because it's just an amazing little shareware application, but I was wondering...

Aside from the simple stuff, what do the rest of you use it for?

It still is the simple stuff, but my biggest use for it is to play and pause iTunes when I enter and leave the office and for it to notify me who is calling me on my mobile phone (I appreciate the way it pauses iTunes or DVD player for me when this happens as well).

I just got the S/E T637 bluetooth phone days ago for $30. Actually, I looked at that software before I even got the phone. 2 days ago, I used Salling Clicker + my T637 + iBook + D-Link BT USB adapter for my solo presentation. It went flawlessly with Keynote 1.1.1. I did try iTunes, but not that much.

I love both the idea and the application itself.. guess what's on the Windows side..

Just a word of warning. Last year I was using this software to control a Powerpoint presentation I was doing to some final year undergraduates. I was feeling pretty smug in a 'look at me, Mr Cool, using my mobile phone to control my presentation when I could just as easily move my hand 30cm and control it using the keyboard' kind-of-way.

Next thing I know there's a great big window in the middle of the screen, on top of my slides saying something like 'Message from monkeyspunk' or something like that. I had been 'bluejacked'by one of the students in the audience. It could have been a lot worse....
