I've got the strangest problem with Quark XPress 6.1 and any document that uses Zapf Dingbats. The dingbats are invisible on screen but print just fine after a warning that the font might be corrupted. The font views and prints just fine with Illustrator and other software. I've replaced the font with a fresh copy several times, trying it in the user library, the main library and outside the library, managed by Suitcase. Nothing seems to solve the problem. Please help!

hope this helps a lil bit -

Mac OS v10.3 only: If you print or export a QuarkXPress layout containing text with certain versions of Zapf Dingbats fonts applied as a PDF file (File > Export > Layout as PDF), an alert displays stating that the font is corrupt and the desired output might not be generated.

Thanks for that! That's how the problem started, just a warning at print or export to pdf. Then, the font became invisible on screen weeks later. I'm thinking of downgrading to 10.2 to see if that will fix the problem because it seems like when I upgraded, the problem surfaced.
