I remember there was a system extension or control panel back in the Mac OS 9 days that allowed to simulate gravity on the icons. So when you moved an icon, it showed inertia and stuff. Does anyone know of a tool that makes this possible under Mac OS X? I know for sure, when I install it, it would get on my nerves after five minutes, but it would be great to use it from time to time nontheless.

LOL

I remember that. I believe it was called "Gravité"
Annoying, yes. But cool nonetheless. I used to like to try to throw stuff into the Trash from across the screen. Prolly never got updated for Mac OS X...

eidt - found the download page. Supposedly works in Classic. http://www.wildbits.com/gravite/
