I'm trying out their demo, I've created a simple small database with a few tables. I created a number of fields with the tables. One of which I'd like to delete.

For the life of me I cannot figure out how to delete it.
I've tried dragging it to the trash bin the exlporer
I've tried hitting the delete key with the field highlighted in the structure windows.

I cannot figure it out. All in all I like this product and since I'm devloping a solution for a non-profit organization there's a good discount which I may take advantage.

Any resources you can point to for 4d specific help would be great, I've been hunting through 4d's web site.

Thanks
Mike

Never mind, I found this:
"You cannot delete fields. However, if you create an unwanted field,
you can make it invisible to users by choosing the Invisible attribute.
For more information, refer to “Field Attributes” on page 182."

Kind of dopey that you can't delete a field.

Funny thing is, I downloaded the demo and it downloaded the 2004 version (without any documentation).
I downloaded the full version they offer for free and its the 2003 version (I still need a registration # to get beyond the 30 day trial period). This though had the full documentation where I found that little blurb on deleting fields.

I'm not liking that one facet, but if that's the worst of it I can live with it.

Mike
