Anyone else install Windowshade? Anyone getting it to work? I've checked the settings numerous times and so far, the only application for which double clicking the title bar actually works is Word. I use Word infrequently! It doesn't work with AppleWorks and it doesn't work with main windows and it didn't work when I tried it with Palm dekstop.

A quick check (and it was quick) with version tracker shows other people having difficulties. anyone else experiencing this? anyone have answers? I am hugely unimpressed.

Open the Appearance Preference Pane (Apple Menu->System Preferences, then click Appearance) and make sure that "Minimize when double clicking a window title bar" is checked.

This corrected problems I had with WindowShade.

Thanks for replying. That is already checked so, unfortunately, my double-clicking is minimizing the window to the dock, and not as a window shade.

OK, I think I fixed it -- some were working, some were not. So I changed some settings around, then changed them back and finally logged out and logged back in. That's changed at least some things, so I might have solved my problems.

Thanks -- and hopefully this will help someone else.
