My campus offers the education verson of photoshop and macromedia production suite(flash, dreamweaver, ect) but on the botom of the box it says window, i know these programs work on both platforms from a retail store becasue it list requierments for both platforms, but if it says windows wil it still work or is it window only?

Sounds like it's the "Windows" only version...which won't work on your Mac...

All you really have to do is download the trial installer, purchase an education code online then enter it, which will convert Macromedia products to the full version. As for Adobe, I don't believe there is a way to convert the trial to the full version (legally anyway).
