Hi folks:

My aol will no longer start up... it crashes when I try to start the application one second after I try to start it up from the dock. this just started yesterday.

I have tried reinstalling 10.3 several times, and have deleted the aol files hopeing to start over but can't get it to work...

any ideas/suggestions?

Have you tried 1) reinstalling the AOL application, and 2) deleting (or at least moving) the AOL support files in your /Users/Shared folder? My brother once had a corrupted file cabinet that would bring AOL down.

Yes, AOL likes to corrupt it's own files, so moving or deleting the /Users/Shared/America Online folder is almost guaranteed to fix your problem.

I was deleting the aol files in my home folder...not the SHARED...the shared file was the one needing deleting!
