A quick question.
I have an iChat account set up on my work computer; can I share the same account on my computer at home so I don't have to give people two accounts? If it is possible, how do you do it? (I've not really investigated, so apologies if it's really stupidly simple)

Simply use it on both computers...you've got your username and password. That's all you need to log yourself onto your computer at home. You can even be simultaneously logged in at home and at work...I don't think many IM services allow that...MSN certainly doesn't.

I know that with the official AIM client you can be logged in at multiple locations the only thing that will happen is that you (at both locations) will get a message from them just advising you that you are now signed on in two locations and to make sure thats ok with you.

Exactly the same thing happens in iChat.

On a related (and possibly really dumb) note, can I use iChat to chat to my wife on my other machine when we're both logged in to the same account? Or do I have to set up a different account for one of us? (By account I mean iChat/.mac/AIM account.)
edit - um, forget it, it really was a dumb question.
