Hello all,

I have set up a filemaker pro script at work to execute a series of tasks once open. What I want to do is launch filemaker on a particular day and at a particular time automatically once every week. Is there a way to do this? I am guessing Apple scripts could do this, but I'd have to learn it and that's a lot of my time, kinda which Tiger with automator was already here.

If you simply want launch Filemaker:

Open iCal, create a repeating event (daily or whatever you want), and in the "message" type select "open file", then select Filemaker as the file to open.

If you want Filemaker to do something special beyond just starting you would need an AppleScript. It would look somewhat like this:

Code:
tell application "FileMaker" open "Macintosh HD:Users:slider:Documents:thescript.filemaker" -- run the script (see FileMaker's dictionary( end tell
Save such a script as Application somewhere and select it as the file to open in iCal.
