Is there a way to do this? Some hack that will keep the screen of the 'host' computer from waking when a tune is shared? I want to be able to let my fam listen to my music, but I don't want to have to try and remember to turn my screen on and off all the time. Plus i set up a VPN so I can stream my music from anywhere in the world, but its going to keep flashing my screen on and off all day while i listen. I can't even figure out why apple would make it do this in the first place, but it totally kills the feature for me. If there is anyway to hack it out, i'd be most happy.
