This is a pretty speciic problem I guess but it's annoying the hell out of me. Word 2004, particually when I paste in something from a web-page, or apparently just when it's been sitting around for long enough, keeps changing my default language from English (UK) to English (US). Then when I change it back to UK and hit "default" it changes back to US English within 5 seconds! It's driving me insane!

Anyone have a fix? If there's some way to just delete the US English dictionary that would be fine, as I don't plan on ever using it. All my styles are set up in UK English BTW.

Word 2004 has that "Paste Options" menu that pops up when you copy & paste something--maybe there's something in the options for that feature that is messing with your defaults?
