Burning multiple sessions to DVD?

I have a clip art set of 8 CDs (Photo Objects) that I got for free at a conference a couple years ago. I like the artwork on there but I can't stand having to switch discs all the time to access any of the artwork. I would like to burn all 8 CDs to one DVD (they just fit) but I would like all 8 discs to mount when I insert the DVD (8 sessions). I made dmg images of each disc using Disk Utility but now I don't know how to burn all the sessions to one DVD. I am having trouble figuring out how to do this because if I try to burn the first image in Disk Utility the box to "leave disc appendable" is greyed out. How can I do this?
