safari automatically downloads the MS office html link, rather than launching them directly. IS THERE A WAY TO CHANGE THIS?

for PDF files, safari will indeed launch the document directly when you click on the html link.

Actually, for PDF files it will download *then* open the file. Similar, but not the same as directly opening them (which would require a temp folder to save it in). I don't believe at the moment there is a way to add more filetypes to the 'safe' files to automatically open.
