Something happened and I am not sure what. When I try to save a graphic with PS's "Save for the Web" option and get to the actual save file name window, after hitting OK I get the following error:
"Could not complete operation. The file was not found."

I cannot save any graphic file this way any more.

The regular "Save" dialog box seems to work, but the JPG option has disappeared. What is strange is that both the GIF/JPG options are broken in the "Save for the Web" command, but the GIF option still appears int he "Save As" command.

did you install any new plug-in?
(as you may know, the save for web is a plug-in, so maybe you could replace it with a fresh one...)
Or more radically, re-install PS...
