Has anyone tried the Firefox extension called "Tweak Network Settings"? It's supposed to tweak some hidden Firefox settings to speed things up. I've installed it and I think it might actually have worked! But I'm not sure if it's really faster or if I'm having a bit of the placebo-induced faster-cause-I'm-expecting-it-to-be-faster syndrome.

Anyone else tried it?

Here's a link to it, if interested:

I noticed a good bit of speed increase with it.

Thanks...

I've had it installed for a while, but I honestly can't tell.

Did you just install it, or did you also activate the Power settings via Tools > Tweak Network Settings? Because I don't think it actually does anything until you do so.

I activated the power settings... and that's my thing too... I *think* I can tell a difference, but I don't know if I really can or if I'm just thinking there's one because I was expecting it.
