What are you actually asking? A clear question can get a clear answer.

Photoshop CS does not have 3D transform plug-in installed. Another site stated the Photoshop 7 plugin will work if you copy it and drop it in the plug-in/filter folder. So I copied the file off our other computer that has PS 7 and dropped it into the proper place on the powerbook but it isn't recognizing it as any particular file type because for some reason the email client drops file extensions when attaching them. (happens with word docs as well and I have to manually add back the file extension for it to open.) Anyway, the get-info doesn't show a file extension for the plug-ins that are currently installed so if anyone can tell me the extension i can manually add it to the file name and see if that does the trick.

Changing into a new extension won't help

ask the person that sent you, to compress it with suffit and re-send it.

In the event that you cannot receive it again, you need to remove the extension created by the email program and change the file type to {"otos","8BFM","8BIM"}
