Can anyone help me. I am looking for a bare bones simple program that either lets me asign a keypress to a button or clone the expose dot. . I just need one for each keypress pf f8 f9 f10 f11, so far I have f10 from the hidden expose dot so my question is where are the others ??

oh and f8 is for konfabulator and later in the future dashboard.

i have a multibutton mouse (logitech mx 510) and used usboverdrive to reassign expose to mouse buttons. works super. i don't even have to leave my mouse.

Hi, loren.

By "the Exposé dot" do you mean the "blob?"

You can reassign the Fkey shortcuts for Exposé, as well as assign hot corners to various Exposé functions, in System Preferences > Exposé.

yes but it s still not a button. The corners throw me off if I hit them .
And for a multi button mouse it is just not my thing. I use a wacom tablet a lot and just haaving a button to press makes it realy fast with the blob, I just need a few more for the other keys...

eh, not really. it is more constraining haveing to pick from a menu. I just want a button that I can asign hotkeys to . I want to have more than just the expose keys. maybe like safari's next tab and next window and stuff like that. Would be very helpfull
