I access my .mac mail from Mail and the web interface. If I get 100 emails and delete them, I see that in Mail. If I then wait a reasonable time (an hour, a day, etc) and look at the web interface, they're all there. If I pick one and delete it using the web interface, the remainder disappear. Why does it not update correctly? It used to, this is a relatively new thing for me. I have a friend with the identical problem, too. Is anybody else seeing this?

You may need to "purge" them.

Mine has always worked that way. I guess I just figured that was how it was supposed to work! How would we "purge" them?
