I'm about to purchase a network attached storage unit so that I can automate backups from my fiancée's and my computer. What I'm wondering about is how best to do this. I own Retrospect Desktop, which I understand includes 2 licenses for Retrospect client. But if I use the Retrospect client solution, *both* computers will have to be connected to the network in order for the backup to occur, right? (i.e. my computer running Retrospect, and my fiancée's running the client).

It seems to me that a far better solution would be to have each computer backing up independently.

Should I just buy another copy of Retrospect?
