I'm somewhat new to the Mac world, and there is a certain problem that has been bugging me for weeks and weeks.
Whenever I highlight all of the text in a Safari text area, and accidentally press backspace, I lose everything, and I can't find a way to undo this action! On a PC, all I have to do is press Ctrl-Z, but in Safari...nada...
Am I missing something?
Furthermore, I have problems searching text areas in Safari. When I pressed Ctrl-F on a PC, while in a text area in Internet Explorer, the text of the text area would be searched by the find tool. I can't figure out how to do that in Safari. It only searches the page...not the text inside the text area.
Tips would be greatly appreciated!

I'd rather use Safari...it's more Apple-like and is better integrated into the OS.

Then do without the undo. You can prepare your posts in TextEdit. OmniWeb might also support undo in its 'external' editor. I don't remember.

I was just wondering if Safari had that feature and I couldn't find it.
What about Find in a text area, though?

Neither Safari nor Firefox support this feature.

I cant test it right now, but my bet is that OmniWeb does support this.
