hi all. hoping that someone here may be able to help. i have a quicktime movie that i took with my digital camera. i would like to be able to extract one frame from that and use it as a picture (.jpg would be fine). is this possible? thanks in advance! macnn.com is an invaluble resource and i appreciate everyone's input.

Easiest way to get a shot of anything, including videos:

Cmd-Shift-4, and drag a "box" around the area you want a screenshot of. The file will appear on your desktop as Picture 1.pdf or something like that.

drag the frame to the desktop then export it to a different format.
