I have an original Airport card in my 15" TiBook and it is connected to the web via a D-Link wireless router (no Apple base station and no Airport Express). Apple claims that this update is for both Airport Extreme and Airport enabled computers. Is this true? Will this update do anything for me since I do not have Airport Extreme?
