Hey everyone...
Does anyone know of free/shareware apps that can replace OS 9's Apple Video Player? I'm using MPlay right now and it works alright, but I'm also looking for a fullscreen player that is compatible with beige G3 AV personality cards. I'm mainly looking to use the AV input to capture some video from my VCR. If anyone knows of any such app, let me know. Thanks in advance.

Try the freeware VLC Media Player (nee VideoLan Client).

Thanks for the suggestion but I don't think VLC makes a verison for OS 9. I did use it when I had OS X installed and it worked well, but I decided to reinstall OS 9 instead to gain speed. OS X runs slow on this Beige G3 350mhz. If there is an OS 9 version that I don't know about, please point me in the right direction. Thanks again for the suggestion though.

Not sure if it fits your needs, but check out BTV. It's one of the video tools I remember seeing mentioned most often in regards to OS 9 software.
