does anyone have exerience with this combination? I have a sanyo 8200 phone, just purchased a usb data cable (i know the cable works, it also charges the phone) and am using bitpim .62. the software is not detecting a com/serial/usb port; i have it set to "auto" in the settings.. i'd really like to get this working ASAP. the phone is showing up in the network preference panel in mac os. thanks in advance!!

I have BitPim 0.7.19 and I'm using it with the Sanyo 8100 phone. works quite well.

I had to fiddle a bit as I recall to get it to recognize. perhaps updating your bitpim would work. our phones are extremely similar.

good luck.
