I've just got a Sony UX-50 and was wondering which software people recommend. I've bought Missing Sync, as a necessity, but is there much else to get? Less expensive the better
Documents to go is probably a good thing, but any free things around.
Plus I'm a medical student, so any free medical stuff is good. I have access to pcs so can use stuff that requires a pc to install and stuff.
By the way I posted this in the peripherals forum but no one had any idea so here it is!
Cheers guys

Hey, Im a second year resident - here in the states and I find a couple of programs pretty valuable.
Lexi- comp is pretty good value considering that it covers all the bases when it comes to hospital call. Drug info, toxicology (great for ER call overnight). The pack even has a data base of disease (similar to 5 minute consult) Check it out.
Otherwise theres palm desktop from palmsource that will enable to move the data to the sony. This site has alot medical people viewing it and there are some with medical backrounds that can further answer your questions about good programs.
good luck

Skip Palm Desktop if you have Missing Sync. Missing Sync is alot better.

Got missing sync and it works really really well, no complaints there. Just spent an entire day sorting out my new oxford handbook of specialities and mobipocket reader. Good stuff, but is there a better viewer available, or is that the standard one?
and in general is there any major programs I should go out of my way to get?
by the way tkmd, did you know that diagnosaurus is free? sort of a differential guide and seems to work very well for me. From the guys behind harrisons and 5 minute consult on the pda.
