A BBC-Tech report (from OneStat.com data) says that IE's share has been dropping this year - and is now below 90%!:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/4037833.stm

The final release of FireFox 1.0 was sited as a significant factor in this trend...

So, maybe there's hope for web standards-compliance eventually (instead of IE-compliance)?!? - - and for the rascal banks (etc.) who think they should require IE to get up to speed?

I'm still happily enjoying Safari - and not feeling a need for moving to 3rd party like FireFox.

I still prefer Safari, but I have to give FF serious props. At work, I'm stuck using a peecee right now and FF makes Internet usage tolerable.

I use Safari on my Macs but when it comes to my PC Firefox is it. I stopped using IE a couple years ago and switched to Mozilla (pre-Firefox). I hope Firefox is around for a long time to come.
