I need help getting Mail bundles to work properly.

I recently tried to install the GrowlMail.bundle for use with the svn Growl 0.6 release. However, the bundle prefpane is not showing up in Mail preferences. The same goes for the MailEnhancer bundle I have installed. Both bundles show up as loaded in console.log:

2004-11-26 04:52:27.535 Mail[674] Loaded GrowlMail 1.0
2004-11-26 04:52:28.091 Mail[674] Loaded MailEnhancer 1.1.1 (Panther)

GrowlMail also functions as it should, I just can't access the prefs. Creating another user and installing the bundles there works fine, so the problem is something to do with my user account, not the system. I have also tried deleting com.apple.mail.plist and emptying the Mail folder in ~/Library, neither (nor both) worked.

I have tried emptying the Mail cache and rebuilding permissions too.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Si

Seems that with the 10.4.1 update of Tiger these bundles are handled different, at least my beloved Mailenhancer has trown out by Mail. At least Mail is decent enough to tell me is is trown out. I was searching for a workaround or an update but haven't founf it yet. Nor could I find the original maker of it.

Found this :

: It works on 10.4.1, just make this steps:

In Finder, rename folder ~/Library/Mail/Bundles (Disabled) to ~/Library/Mail/Bundles

In Terminal, type:
defaults write com.apple.mail EnableBundles 1

defaults write com.apple.mail BundleCompatibilityVersion 2

Relaunch Mail
