The only one I know of is Comics..... and it is lacking and a bit too expensive if you ask me. Are there others that I am missing? I would prefer to stay away from Filemaker Plug/Apps.

Comic Collector (http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/13959) is freeware but after using Comics for a while I lean more towards it. Neither of these programs pull data from the Web, which is a shame, but at least Comics lets you "clone" other entries, making entering multiple titles with the same creators a breeze. I agree that Comics is a little pricey if he's going to charge $12.95 for each upgrade, but the developer says he will only do this for significant upgrades. Personally, I have no problem paying the fee. I have been trying to learn programming to develop my own program but it's tedious. I guess it depends on how helpful you find the software. Also, a new version of Comics, 1.6, is coming soon. Not soon enough if you ask me because I'm not buying until 1.6 comes out.

The Missing Comic

Not quite what you're looking for, but you still might find it useful. You could always email the developer (he posts here) and ask him if he would develop a comic book database program.

Delicious Library looks great for this sort of thing, but it's $40.

Thanks for the replies..... I have used Maurys' apps ( Missing Comic and Wednesdays List ) since they came out and they really are quite helpful....... I would really like to see an app combining The Missing Comic, Wednesdays List and Delicious Library...... I'd pay fifty bucks for an app that handled all that.

Looks like it's Delicious Library for now.

.......again, thanks for the help.
