I'm trying to back up my mail from Apple's mail program. I drag and drop the folders (mailboxes) into Toast and alot of other stuff shows up but not the actual emails/documents. Trying to drag the actual doc over to Toast just springs back to the mailbox. What am I missing here?

Backup ~/Library/Mail/ (where ~ means your home folder).
You might grab ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist while you're at it.
