I just got off the phone with an iTunes rep at apple canada, and he stated to me that iTunes for Canada will be up and running today sometime. As to the exact time, he didn't say.
iTunes in Canada.

How about a thread in the correct forum? I'd like that even more.

The iTunes Store isn't software. Just like the Apple Store isn't software either, just because it can be accessed with Safari.

It's a lot closer to software than it is an operating system.

When the iTMS Canada does go live, what will be left for Macnn users to moan about regarding iTMS?

It certainly isn't the operating system. Nor is it even Mac related anymore. It is closest to iTunes which is software. Either here or the Lounge, but certainly not in the OS X forum.

The outrageous price (not Apple's fault, but the labels), the DRM (not Apple's fault, but the labels), the absence of a huge list of indie music (still) from the UK store, the lack of an interface for liner notes for your purchased iTMS songs, the stupidness of a mere 30s preview, the crapness of iMix, its inability to wipe my arse, etc, etc.

Hear hear!
All my favourite Indie artists that didn't make the launch are now on the iTMS UK, liner notes can be produced by going File->Print, I'll take 30 second previews over none at all, iMix serves it's purpose and I'll wipe my own arse thank you very much!
