Hi,

I just set up a mail server using Kerio Mail Server (an Exchange
compatible server), to use in combination with my PCs and Mac.

Everything seems to work fine, however I encountered some minor
issues. Perhaps some of you can help me?

1. Entourage only seems to update the mail boxes at its startup, not
permanently (as does Outlook on my PC). I have to restart Entourage to
see new mail. Can this be changed? Does it have something to do with
Entourage's "offline working" functionality (I have disabled this in
the menu).

2. Read/unread status does not seem to be picked up by Entourage. When
a mail is marked read in my Outlook, it still shows up as unread in
Entourage. Can this status be synced?

3. I read in the help files from Entourage that Calendar appointment
categories can not be synced. This is a real bummer, as I became to
rely very much on the nice colouring in month view for the various
categories when I still used Entourage as a stand alone program. Is
there now way at all (using a third party script/plugin) to send the
Categories to the Kerio/Exchange server as well?

Thanks in advance for any help!

On Entourage you need to set up the Send & receive all Schedule.
To do this go to tools, schedule and set up send and receive. set it for 1 min

That Kerio Mail Server looks very interesting. How do you like it? I'm looking at it for an Exchange replacement for about 100 users.
