Is there an equivalent app that is free or for little money that is as easy to use as Algebra Graph? I'm that stuff in school currently and it would be nice to have sth. like it.

I'm still using Algebra Graph in classic, but my girlfriend is Mac OS X only and she needs the app, too.

There is now an OS X version of Algebra Graph. See http://www.pacifict.com/ . Have it here. It's great. Educational price is still 60$ however.

Reportedly the upcoming OS X 10.4 will again come bundled with some kind of Algebra Graph (not pacifit's however).

I'll check it out, thanks. However, I didn't see a tryout version and I really won't spend 60 $ and buy a pig in a poke.

After you quit with your girlfriend a $60 Algebra Graph license is the least you could do.
