I know that I should have done some more searching on the forums, but did not find anything so far. I would like to know if anyone else experiences this or if I am alone.

Here is the problem...

Most of the when I type a webpage into safari i get the error that safari can not find the server. I go ahead and click on OK, and then hit 'enter' to try and make the browser find the site again... except this time it works.

Am I the only one experiencing this? Does Apple, or anyone have a fix? My OS and all updates are current and my safari is running 1.2.4 (v125.12) and no the problem does not occur when I am running mozilla, internet explorer or firefox as my browser... it seems to just be a safari thing.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I'm having the same problem. I can't remember if the problem existed before the 10.3.6 update or any other update.

Old news Apparantly, you guys don't remember the issues Safari had with OS X 10.2 when it was brand-new; back then, it happened all the time. Simply disable IPv6 in the Network preference panel (TCP/IP) - problem solved.

Thanks!
It never occurred to me that this actually was a bug.
