I know you aren't crazy, and now I know I'm not crazy. Fired up my iBook 20 minutes ago and my start page had been changed to Apple. Safari even forgot my password at MacNN, which I have it set to remember. Odd thing is, this didn't affect my iMac which is on my wired home network, running 10.3.6 with the same updates (except airport stuff). Haven't checked my G5 yet, but now I'm really curious. I'll check it out and report back.

WTF!?
Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!

All that happened is that livepage.apple.com was redirected to Apple's new start page. It's just coincidence that your MacNN password was forgotten.

Much like the person with the forgotten password, I thought it had had something to do with my reinstalling drivers and running Classic. Conspiracies are everywhere...

It wasn't until I checked my PB, so I could change the page back, and the PB did the same thing that I suspected something. I've already changed the start page to the old page in preferences. I like the news page much better.

I like the change, I much preffer to check Netscape.com e.g. once I log out from the Netscape web mail account that the now old Apple-Netscape mixed format.
