This rings a bell for me... There's probably a newer version out and that's the subtle hint they they want you to upgrade. It seems to me that the only thing I could do was to re-download a newer version.

Hello,
I've paid for two licenses and feel that I have a right to basic technical support. I am unable to "connect" or view any content for the past three upgrades. I have written two letters to the developer over the past three weeks (Nov 19th and Nov 30th) and other than automated responses have received no feedback or assistance whatsoever. I feel this is unacceptable.
If you are unable to provide support than you have no right to ask for payment for your product. I can understand with limited resources it may take time to respond but two emails on the same subject over three weeks and not a peep! Please!
Dear potential customer; do yourself a favour. If you enjoy the product use it but don't waste your money paying for something that, if broken, you're stuck with. More Info

This happens with the most current version.

The author, Dave, has been known to be a superior arsehole. Much like GameRanger's own Scott Kevill.
