i have ucontrol installed which allows for forward delete using the Shitft+DElete combo. this works in all of my apps except for Ms Word. in word, i have to use fn+delete, which is not as easy to use b/c of the far left positioning of the fn key on the powerbook. anyone know how to address this issue?

Word has its own keyboard shortcuts configuration feature - have you tried looking around in there to see if there is an option to assign something to forward delete?

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

Tools -> Customize, then Keyboard button. Choose EditClear, change to whatever you want.
