Hi all.
I recently upgraded from iTunes 4.5 to 4.7. I have successfully burned a playlist to CD which was about 77 min of music (iTunes 4.5 I think).
I have since tried to burn four playlists without success. The first and second were each under 27 min of music (being tracks one and two of a purchased CD burnt into iTunes); the third was 73 min (the entire contents of a burnt CD); the fourth was 73 min long, including one iTMS purchase.
I keep getting the message in each case that the selection will not fit on one CD: do I want to use multiple CDs.
The hardware in question is a G3 iBook 800, which is authorised. The library sits on the iBook HDD, all in AAC format. My burning preferences are set to Audio. All the tracks in the playlist are selected. I have repaired the disk and permissions. I have not exceeded the 7-time playlist burn ceiling.
All I want to do is burn some of my music in compilation format to the odd CD or so. The CDs I'm using are TDK 800MB audio disks.
If it makes any difference, I've also got a problem exporting playlists, whereupon I get a message after attempting to import my .xml export that says "some of the songs in the file 'filename.xml' were not imported because they could not be found". I then get an empty playlist in my G4 Cube.
I'm gonna post this playlist issue separately, so please don't reply to it from this message - I just mention it in passing, in case it's related.
Can anybody help me burn a CD from iTunes, please? Wits' end (or at least half-wits).
