Are Office Macro viruses something that needs to be worried about using 10.3 and Office X or Office 2004?

It depends. If you don't have your macros activated by default then no, don't worry about them. If you use a lot of macros, then you may want to get a virus checker. Virex is free if you are a .Mac member.
